CHRISTOPHER JULLIEN spent 18 months on the sidelines after a cruciate ligament injury.
The Celtic defender was ruled out for a year-and-a-half after picking up the injury in December 2020 while in action against Dundee United.
Jullien, 29, coliided with a post to suffer the injury and only returned earlier this year for a cameo appearance against Raith Rovers in February.
He's not been a starter under Postecoglou, even after his comeback and return to matchday squads. But for Jullien it's just a huge relief to have put his injury woes behind him.
Speaking to The Scottish Sun, Jullien recalled the difficult moments during his intense rehab as he admitted being unsure when it would end.
Appearing at a Celtic Q&A at JD Sports, he explained: “I didn’t feel too good because I couldn’t see the end of it.
“In total, it was one year and a half.
“It was really long and I definitely wouldn’t wish it on anyone in football because when you are playing you sometimes don’t pick up injuries.
“But when it happens you just have to be strong mentally and to keep looking forward.
“You just want to come back, to kick the ball, and to enjoy your life and that’s what I’m trying to do again.”
