STEVE CLARKE has named his Scotland team to take on Ukraine tonight.

The national team are in Nations League duty at Hampden in the first of three matches during the international break.

Craig Gordon starts in goal for Scotland with notable absentee Andy Robertson missing from the backline as he remains sidelined.

It appears Nathan Patterson will play at right-wing-back with Kieran Tierney on the left. It looks like a back three of Scott McTominay, Jack Hendry and Scott McKenna for Scotland.

John McGinn captains the side along with Callum McGregor in central midfield with Stuart Armstrong and Ryan Christie also in from the start.

Che Adams leads the line for Scotland with Lyndon Dykes forced to settle for a spot on the bench.

SCOTLAND XI: Gordon, Patterson, McTominay, Tierney, McGinn, McGregor, Adams, Christie, Hendry, McKenna, Armstrong.

SUBS: Kelly, McCrorie, Taylor, Porteous, Dykes, Gilmour, Ralston, Fraser, Jack, Hickey, McLean.
