Rangers have recalled Juan Alegria from loan at Falkirk.
The Columbian striker has returned to Ibrox after spending the first half of the season with the League One side.
Alegria scored six goals for The Bairns in 16 league appearances and notched up three assists as John McGlynn’s side battle for a return to the Championship.
Falkirk wrote on Twitter: “The Club can confirm Rangers FC have recalled Juan Algeria from his loan spell and he will return to his parent club.
“We wish to thank Juan for the positive contribution he made while at The Bairns.
“All the best for the future Juan.”
The 20-year-old, who has had his season-long loan cut short, joined up at Ibrox two years ago following a spell with Finnish outfit FC Honka.
He has yet to make an appearance for the Gers first team.

The South American frontman spent the last six months of last year’s campaign on loan at Partick Thistle, in a move which proved unsuccessful for the youngster who failed to find the net in his 12 games played as the Jags missed out on promotion via the playoffs.
Alegria had a recall option available in his deal with Falkirk which was supposed to run until May 2023, as does fellow Rangers loanee Kai Kennedy.
The 20-year-old midfielder, who remains out on loan, has also had a decent spell with the League One club, recording two goals and seven assists in 16 matches in all competitions.
Another Ibrox youth who has returned from a short time away from the club is forward Tony Weston, who departed Partick Thistle last week,
Firhill gaffer Ian McCall, who also temporarily signed Alegria and another young Ger Cole McKinnon, confirmed the 19-year-old left the club due to a lack of gametime.
“Tony is a very talented young player and I’m disappointed to see him leave,” McCall said.
“Admittedly, he probably hasn’t has as many opportunities as he’s deserved this season and for a player at his age, it’s important to be playing.
“We left it up to him because we’d have been happy to keep a hold of him but he’s decided to leave and look for regular football elsewhere. As well as being a good player, he’s a great lad who is well-liked here at Firhill and we all wish him the best going forward.”
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
