Hibs have announced the signing of Middlesbrough striker Matthew Hoppe on loan until the season.
The American international, who has been capped eight times for his country, will join the Easter Road side subject to international clearance.
The 21-year-old has had spells at Schalke in the Bundesliga and Real Mallorca in La Liga.
Hoppe has played six times for the English Championship side this season.
Hibs boss Lee Johnson said: " “We’re delighted to add Matthew to the group as he’s someone that’ll add extra quality in the final third.
“He’s a talented player that can play in all three positions across our front-line and someone that joins with good experience being a full US international and that has played regularly in the Bundesliga.
“We look forward to working with him and welcome him to the club.”

Meanwhile, St Mirren have confirmed the departure of midfielder Ethan Erhahon to Lincoln City.
The 21-year-old has joined the English League One side on a long-term deal.
The Saints youth academy graduate made his debut for the club in 2017 and over the course of his time in Paisley, he featured 123 times for the first-team.
After a loan spell at Barnsley during the 2019-20 season, he returned to St Mirren, where he became a regular fixture over the next few years.
Saints boss Stephen Robinson had nothing but good things to say about the midfielder after the move was announced.
"Ethan has been a pleasure to work with," he commented.
He has arguably been one of my best players all season. But opportunities arise, Ethan was out of contract at the end of the season and it was good business on behalf of the club.
"This is the model of the football club. We have to produce our own players. Ethan has played a lot of games at a good level for his age. Now we have to move on to the next one."
After signing a long-term deal with Lincoln City, Erhahon made clear he was grateful for his time at St Mirren.
"I have always said I wanted to play in England and push myself to the next level," he said.
"I feel Lincoln is the right place and club for the next stage in my development, and I’m really looking forward to getting going.
"I have played as a No.6 this year, but I have also played as a No.8 - I like to get about the park and dictate play. I’m not afraid to tackle either."
Why are you making commenting on The Herald only available to subscribers?
It should have been a safe space for informed debate, somewhere for readers to discuss issues around the biggest stories of the day, but all too often the below the line comments on most websites have become bogged down by off-topic discussions and abuse.
heraldscotland.com is tackling this problem by allowing only subscribers to comment.
We are doing this to improve the experience for our loyal readers and we believe it will reduce the ability of trolls and troublemakers, who occasionally find their way onto our site, to abuse our journalists and readers. We also hope it will help the comments section fulfil its promise as a part of Scotland's conversation with itself.
We are lucky at The Herald. We are read by an informed, educated readership who can add their knowledge and insights to our stories.
That is invaluable.
We are making the subscriber-only change to support our valued readers, who tell us they don't want the site cluttered up with irrelevant comments, untruths and abuse.
In the past, the journalist’s job was to collect and distribute information to the audience. Technology means that readers can shape a discussion. We look forward to hearing from you on heraldscotland.com
