The Tartan Army had a party in France as they celebrated Scotland's qualification for Euro 2024.
The French will probably be the favourites to go on and win that tournament - and they showed exactly why.
France showed their class in a 4-1 win in Lille. Billy Gilmour had the Scots in the lead, but the hosts managed to complete a comfortable turnaround in Lille.
Here's how the players rated in this friendly encounter...
Liam Kelly 6
Could do very little for either of Pavard’s goals as he was afforded a rare chance to start.
Jack Hendry 6
Had to help Patterson on the right on several occasions as the Scots tried to halt Mbappe. Couldn’t get close to the PSG frontman as he produced a neat bit of skill to assist for Pavard’s second.
Liam Cooper 5
At first glance, it seemed ludicrous that he was pulling Giroud’s jersey inside the box for France’s penalty. While the Leeds defender shouldn’t have been doing so, replays showed that the striker was at it too.
Scott McKenna 6
Another start for the centre-back. Given his distinct lack of game time in recent months he did fairly well.
Nathan Patterson 6
Lost Pavard for the equaliser, who managed to drift into a yard of space to nod home. Had the unenviable task of going up against Mbappe. Did show some resolute moments as he relished the challenge, though.
Billy Gilmour 8
A superb first-time finish for his first international goal. He started the move off and gladly accepted Camavinga’s gift to score. A real joy to watch with the way he receives the ball in tight areas and is always willing to take the pressure off his teammates.
Kenny McLean 5
A relatively quiet game for the midfielder who mainly played off the left.
Scott McTominay 7
Rewarded for his fine form with the armband in this friendly. With Robertson missing and McGinn rested, the Manchester United midfielder seemed the natural choice. Enjoyed a solid game showing his usual combative and passing qualities.
Greg Taylor 6
It’s always going to be hard for the Celtic left-back to break into the team given his competition. With Tierney out for the foreseeable, he could be in line for a run in the side.
Lewis Ferguson 7
Probably the player everyone was most intrigued to see given the top marks he’s been getting in Serie A. Certainly didn’t look out of place and was willing to get in amongst it.
Che Adams 6
Produced some decent hold-up play and linked up reasonably well with his teammates in the forward areas. Hassled and harried the French defence, but often isolated. Not exactly his forte as a striker but was partly at fault for poor defending at the near-post for France’s first.

Zander Clark (for Kelly, 46’) 6
As promised by the manager, the back-up goalie’s got a half each. On for his national team debut. A proud moment.
John Souttar (for Cooper, 63’) 4
Slotted into the back line.
Jacob Brown (for Adams, 63’) 6
Did really well to hold off Pavard and get snap-shot off. Tested the keeper again with a header. Offered something a bit different.
Stuart Armstrong (for Gilmour, 76’) 3
Couldn’t quite get the connection he wanted with his chance.
Ryan Christie (for McLean, 76’) 3
Some neat touches in and around the box.
