Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that both Cameron Carter-Vickers and new signing Nicolas Kuhn will be involved for Celtic this Saturday as they take on Ross County.

American internationalist Carter-Vickers has been struggling with an injury in recent weeks after he was ruled out of the final derby showdown against Rangers at the turn of the year.

The centre back is now fit and available though and after a week of training he is ready to feature against the Staggies.

Midfielder Kuhn, who signed a five-and-a-half-year deal from Rapid Vienna last week, played at youth level for Germany up until under-20s and was in the academy teams of RB Leipzig and Ajax before joining Bayern Munich in 2020 following an initial loan move.

Kuhn did not quite make the breakthrough at those European giants before moving to Austria in 2022 but is now looking to kick on, with Champions League football and a senior call-up for Germany in his sights.

He has been building his fitness with Celtic and is now available to feature against County.

Rodgers explained: "Yeah they will be involved against Ross County. They have both had a good week of training.

"It is great to see Cameron back again so he will be involved.

"Having Cam back, he is a fantastic player, but it has also been great to see Maik Nawrocki come in and it is exactly what we thought when we were bringing him in.

"He himself has come back from injuries and shown he is ready to compete."
