Gary Neville has revealed the atmosphere in the match between Rangers and Manchester United at Ibrox was the best he experienced in his career.
The Old Trafford legend revealed he was left struggling for words at the atmosphere ahead of kick-off.
Reflecting on the "staggering" atmosphere, Neville said: "That was the best atmosphere. The best atmosphere I’ve ever seen in my life was at Ibrox as the game was about to start.
"I thought ‘what the f*** is this?’

“Look, Celtic was loud and Galatasaray was loud.
“Honestly for the first couple of minutes, before the game and when it started, I’ve never seen anything like that in my life.
"The noise at Ibrox, it was honestly unbelievable. Staggering.”
Neville started for United in the 1-0 victory over Rangers at Ibrox back in 2003 in the Champions League group stage.
And it was his brother Phil Neville who scored the only goal after five minutes to claim victory for the Premier League giants.
However, Neville admitted he had a nightmare performance in Glasgow as he faced up against speed demon Peter Lovenkrands who was deployed as a left winger for Rangers.
On Sky Sports' The Overlap, Neville added: : “I had a bad game that night. I was playing against Peter Lovenkrands. Oh my god he was quick!”
