Alistair Johnston has been taken to hospital after a head knock against Hibs.
The defender was stretchered off after just nine minutes against Hibs after the nasty head knock.
Johnston, 25, was replaced by Anthony Ralston after receiving four minutes of treatment on the pitch from medical staff.
The right-back had earned his side a penalty in the process as Hibs defender Nectarios Triantis clattered into the Celtic player while competing for an aerial ball.
Referee Nick Walsh quickly pointed to the spot for the clumsy challenge as Celtic physios rushed to offer treatment to injured Johnston.
And manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed Johnston was taken to hospital for treatment after the injury concern.

Speaking on BBC, Rodgers said: "The first one [penalty] I am not sure what the referee has given, maybe for a reckless challenge. I don't know, or a collision.
"But he gave it so we were thankful for that, but not thankful for Alistair Johnston. He is away to hospital so hopefully he will be okay."
On Sky Sports, Rodgers added: "It was a nasty one for him.
"I think he has gone to hospital so I will find out a wee bit more later."
And quizzed on Stephen Welsh after he was taken off, Rodgers said: "He felt tight in his hamstring.
"We'll have to see that with the medical team tomorrow.
