Scotland have discovered their latest UEFA Nations League opponents.

The Tartan Army is ready to dine at the top table for the first time since the tournament's inception having climbed the ladder all the way from League C.

Steve Clarke guided the team to success in League B last time out, which saw promotion to League A achieved. The Scots will bypass England, who were relegated.

Now, this evening, Scotland's opponents for their toughest Nations League test to date have been revealed.

Clarke's team will face Croatia, Portugal and Poland.

Scotland were placed in Pot 4 for the section alongside Israel, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Serbia.

Pot 3 was made up of Switzerland, Germany, Poland, and France, while Pot 2 included Denmark, Portugal, Belgium and Hungary.

Pot 1 - where the elite teams were pulled from - included Spain, Croatia, Italy and The Netherlands.
