The dates and times for Scotland's UEFA Nations League fixtures have been confifmed.

Scotland are back among Europe's elite after gaining promotion to League A of the competition last time out.

The tournament provides another method of qualification for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Scotland were placed in Group 1 of the top tier alongside Portugal, Croatia and Poland in yesterday's draw.

Now, it has been revealed what order the fixtures fall in, the dates and the kick-off times.

The group kicks off with a game at home to Poland on September 5 later this year. The match at Hampden will start at 7.45pm.

Then it's two away games for the Tartan Army. Firstly, on September 8, Scotland take on Portugal. Again, kick-off for this one is 7.45pm.

Then in the next international window, it's Croatia away on Saturday 12 at 5pm, followed by Portugal at home on Tuesday 15 at 7.45pm.

The Nations League campaign will conclude with a home match against Croatia on November 15, with a 7.45pm kick-off, before Steve Clarke's side travel to Poland to finish the group on November 18, again at 7.45pm.
