This season's Scottish Cup competition is beginning to come to a head, with the business end of the 2023/24 campaign looming.

Just eight teams remain in the tournament as we enter the quarter-final stage this weekend.

All of the sides will be dreaming of lifting the famous old trophy in the Mount Florida sunshine at Hampden come Saturday, May 25.

But there's still plenty of football to be played before then, with all four ties promising twists and turns along the way, with intrigue aplenty.

It's nearly an all-premiership affair, with Rangers, Celtic, Hearts, Kilmarnock, Hibernian, Aberdeen and Livingston representing Scotland's top flight in the next round of the competition.

Greenock Morton are the only lower division team left in the tournament, with a strong-looking semi-final line-up promised.

Unsurprisingly, Glasgow's big two are the major favourites to go on and lift the trophy at the end of the season, but in cup football, upsets can happen.

Here are all of the details you need to know ahead of the next round...
