Jordan Obita has extended his Hibernian contract until summer 2026, the club have announced. 

Obita, 30, joined Hibs last summer and has gone on to make 37 appearances this season.

Head coach Nick Montgomery hailed the left back's consistency after penning a new deal and is pleased the former Wycombe Wanderers defender will remain in Leith longer-term.

He said: “Jordan is an important part of the squad. He has been one of our most consistent performers all season and brings vital experience to the team. 

“He has a young family and is really enjoying his football at Hibs, so I am delighted Jordan has agreed to commit his future to the Club.”
