Shanghai Port's Spanish star Oscar Melendo reckons incoming Rangers boss Kevin Muscat is the most attacking manager he's ever worked with.
The managerless Ibrox club looks set to appoint the Australian boss, who is currently in charge of the Chinese giants.
Muscat guided his side to a thrilling 4-3 away win at Qingdao Hainiu to keep them on top of the league and on course for his second title in a row, having already won leagues in both Japan and his native Australia.
Reports in China have indicated that Muscat could even make an official announcement this week after discussions with his coaching staff.
One of their marquee foreign players is former Espanyol and Cadiz winger Melendo, who was signed by Muscat this summer after his deal in La Liga ended.
And he has been impressed with Muscat's attacking mentality.
He said: "We always attack. It's the team's signature and our style.
"It's what the coach wants - his idea is for us always to fight to the very end and attack as often as possible.

"I have never played for a team with such a commitment to attack.
"We were playing against a good side who were at home and made it very hard for us.
"But this team knows how to score goals and to score four goals away from home was really good for us.
"We can expect tough games in the run-in to the league now against teams who are also very motivated, but we have a really good squad here with a good mentality."
Muscat's club are next in action on Tuesday in the AFC Champions League against Japanese side Machida Zelvia.
They will be looking to pick up their first win in their third game of the competition after a draw with Sanfrecce Hiroshima and a 3-0 home defeat to Vissel Kobe.
