In a statement on the club's website, Celtic confirmed the coaching change, which sees the 2023/24 title-winning coach being replaced by the 2024/25 winner. "Celtic Football Club can confirm that Grant Scott will be joining as the new Celtic FC Women's Head Coach, as Elena Sadiku departs the Club to pursue a new opportunity.
"Grant joins Celtic with a proven record of success in Scottish women’s football, having overseen some of the most successful periods in Hibernian FC Women’s recent history, including a Scottish Women’s Premier League title triumph during the 2024/25 season."
Scott added, “It is a huge honour to join Celtic, and I look forward to carrying on the great work at the club, to push on and bring even more success to Celtic.
"I'm excited to join at a time when the new Barrowfield Training Centre is giving our women’s team every opportunity to develop, providing the players and those coming through the Academy with the best possible environment to train and come to work each day.
"I have experience of bringing success to clubs and, ultimately, this is what we will all strive for again, to ensure that Celtic can be at the very top of the women’s game.”

Swedish coach Sadiku, who is expected to join BK Hacken FF in her homeland, gave her closing remarks as she exited the club after nearly two years in charge.
"When I came to Celtic, my focus was simple – to give everything I have to help this club create history.
"I want to send a special thanks to all the players, staff, and everyone at the Club for their incredible efforts since the day I arrived, which has made this possible. Winning the Club’s first-ever league title and reaching the UEFA Women’s Champions League group stage for the first time are achievements I will always be proud of.
"To the fans, thank you for your support and for always being there when we needed you. Home and away, you were with us at every step, and the connection we built means a lot to me.
"Celtic will always be part of my journey, and I wish everyone at the Club every success in the future."
