Martin O'Neill has named his first Celtic side for the pre-season match against Shelbourne.

The Scottish Premiership champions begin their preparations for the new season with a trip to Tolka Park this evening. The match will kick off at 6 pm.

Celtic took a mixed squad with them to Ireland for the pre-season fixture, with a host of experienced first-team players blended with academy prospects.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will join the squad in Portugal after penning a new contract with the club, so he will not be involved this evening.

It's also too soon for Alistair Johnston, Daizen Maeda or Auston Trusty to take part after their efforts at the World Cup.
