Camilo Duran missed Celtic's final training session before Thursday night's Europa League clash with Benfica, but manager Martin O'Neill has revealed the absence is for a far happier reason than injury.
The Celtic striker was not involved as O'Neill put his squad through their paces ahead of the trip, with questions immediately raised over his availability.
However, speaking to the media, O'Neill explained that Duran had remained behind as he awaits the birth of his child and could still join up with the squad later if all goes to plan.
He said: "Camilo is hoping to be out here later on; his partner's having a baby, so he'd obviously want to be there at the birth. It depends on how it goes.

"I haven't heard any more news, but if everything goes alright without complications then he'll come round."
Duran's situation means a late decision could be made over his involvement against Benfica, although O'Neill sounded optimistic that the forward could still travel if circumstances allow.
The Celtic boss was also able to provide positive news elsewhere, confirming Auston Trusty is available for selection after returning to training, while Cameron Carter-Vickers will miss the match with a hamstring strain.
