Michael Beale has offered a 'read between the lines' teaser as he puts his plans in place for his first full term as Rangers boss.
Beale added Todd Cantwell and Nicolas Raskin to his squad during the January transfer window as he began his Ibrox rebuilding job after succeeding Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the dugout.
The scale of that work come the summer will depend on which players he chooses to retain and a handful - including Ryan Jack, Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos - are in the final months of their current deals.
Beale's side face Livingston in the Premiership this afternoon before turning their attentions to the first silverware of the campaign and the Viaplay Cup final showdown with Celtic next Sunday.

“No to be fair it’s Ross [Wilson's] role to go away and speak to the agents," Beale said when asked if Rangers were any closer to agreeing deals with their out-of-contract players. "I try to concentrate on managing the players day in, day out. I’ve had no further chats and I won’t now until post-cup final regardless, just so that the focus is on the game.
“I want to wait as long as I can to see how this season works out. There are a few things I still need to see. You can read between the lines, there are one or two that I am very close to, they are playing all the time and they are fundamental to us.

"But I still feel that the fans pay their money to come and watch our team play and between now and the end of the season everybody needs to do more. We are in debt to the fans a little bit because of the way the first half of the season went.”
Beale will be in the market for at least one goalkeeper this summer but he played down recent links to Norwich City shot-stopper Angus Gunn as 'speculation' ahead of the Livingston clash.
Lions keeper Shamal George - who worked with Beale during his teenage years at Liverpool - has also been mentioned as a possible target but that rumour was dismissed by the Ibrox boss.
