ANDREW DICKSON is poised to leave his position at Ibrox as Rangers continue their executive restructuring ahead of the new campaign.

The director of finance and football administration is set to head for the exit door after more than three decades working for the club.

Dickson joined the finance department at Ibrox in 1991 and became financial controller ten years later. After assuming his current position, he was appointed to the board following regime change in 2015.

Dickson is currently a member of the Scottish FA Congress and Rules and Revision Committee, the SPFL Judicial Panel Protocol Working Group and is the Rangers representative with the Glasgow FA.

News of his imminent departure from Ibrox comes just a week after Stewart Robertson confirmed that he will step down as managing director at the end of July.

He will be replaced by James Bisgrove, the current director of commercial and marketing, as he moves up to run the club on a day-to-day basis and works under John Bennett following his appointment as successor to former chairman Douglas Park.

Bisgrove said: “I would like to thank and congratulate Stewart for all he has achieved at Rangers. His daily support and wisdom have been invaluable. Rangers Football Club is a globally renowned institution steeped in success and the scale of privilege and responsibility I feel to serve its supporters as CEO is immense.

"In the past four years, I've witnessed first-hand what this great club means to our supporters worldwide and, together with our chairman, John Bennett, and the board, we will work tirelessly to achieve the success Rangers supporters deserve.

“My immediate priority is to ensure Michael Beale and his staff continue to have the resources and environment they require to put a winning team on the pitch and to deliver regular trophies for our supporters.

"This will be underpinned by overseeing the continuation of our positive financial performance and sustained profitability off the pitch. I'm personally looking forward to energising our engagement with all Rangers supporters and overseeing a strengthened and aligned culture.”

Bisgrove will oversee the recruitment hunt for his replacement in charge of Rangers’ marketing department and then begin the search for the next sporting director following Ross Wilson’s move to Nottingham Forest last month.

Rangers confirmed on Tuesday that Craig Mulholland, the head of academy, will also leave the club at the end of the campaign as Bennett prepares to lead the Light Blues into a new era on and off the park next term.
