Celtic supporters welcomed their side to the pitch with a huge pyro display at Easter Road.

Travelling fans set off flares in the away end in Edinburgh as Celtic players took to the field.

Images showed the away stand engulfed in smoke ahead of the first whistle.

Fortunately, the smoke quickly lifted and exited the stadium with kick-off not impacted.

BBC Sportsound host Richard Gordon described: "Now, barely you can see a single supporter because of all the flares that are being let off and that stand is now just full of smoke.

"Well, hopefully, no one is going to be injured in there despite what is going on.

"And it would appear that the smoke is lifting up and is lifting out of the stadium rather than across the pitch."
