Nico Raskin is lapping up his side's title bid, insisting that the Rangers dressing room is a 'happy' place at present under Danny Rohl.
Having joined the club in 2023, this season marks the first proper run-in that the Belgian international has been involved in, after his injury issues curtailed his side's 2024 challenge under fellow countryman Philippe Clement.
Despite facing question marks over his future earlier on in the season under the now-departed Russell Martin, the Rangers midfielder is enjoying where his side are present, as well as where they might be going under Rohl. “I remember having some discussion about never being able to play again at Ibrox," he said. "Now, being in this position, looking to a proper title race, it just feels good.
“I think I wasn't the only one. I can see Tav (James Tavernier) now, how he's enjoying it. I can see a lot of players having good fun on the pitch. It's just good to see everyone happy, everyone looking in the same direction. Yeah, it's a great atmosphere.

“I think it's probably one of the first times we feel that connected with everyone together. We need to keep in mind that we had a very hard beginning of the season, for many reasons, for many players in this dressing room. So it just feels good to see everyone smiling, everyone happy.”
"But again, it's just about now. Keep going with the team, keep winning, and try to keep the momentum going. We are in the right direction, and we just want to push forward.”
On the title race as a whole, Raskin continued, “I wasn't really involved in title races before. I've been injured, and when I came back, I was not really playing [in 2024]. Now it's my very first title race, a proper one, where I'm involved and playing. So I'm just looking forward. You can see the connection with the fans. I think when the other game was 2-2, we felt it straight away on Sunday.
“Coming to the game, we still want everyone to come in and help the team to win. Even though there will be some moments where it's going to be a bit more difficult. But yeah, we just need to stick together and be positive all together, and I'm pretty sure we can go in the right direction.”
