The director of Glasgow Piping Centre, Mr Roddy MacLeod, won top piping prize at the Royal National Mod which opened in Inverness at the weekend.
Mr Macleod, 35, from Condorrat, near Cumbernauld, won the aggregate trophy for best marks in the pibroch as well as the march, Strathspey, and reel competitions.
Mr MacLeod previously won the Mod's top event in 1987 at Stirling.
