CANMOOR, the new owner of Westway Park in Renfrew, has announced its first new occupier since acquiring the park from the administrator for £40 million.

The deal is one of the largest industrial transactions to be concluded in Scotland for over a year, with Canmoor agreeing terms with AMG Group, a growing outdoor clothing and equipment company and owner of the Vango brand, to establish a new 113,000sqft distribution centre, at the park near Paisley.

Port Glasgow-based AMG distributes its portfolio of brands, including Vango, Rossignol and Wayfayrer, to over 40 countries. It has agreed a 10-year lease with a five-year break option on units K1 and K2.
