Donald Trump was aware of Jeffrey Epstein’s illegal activities, the deceased financier alleged in a series of emails prior to his death.
Democratic members of the US Congress released several messages obtained from Epstein’s estate which stated that the 45th and 47th President had “spent hours at my house” with one of the paedophile’s victims.
Trump, 79, has denied involvement or knowledge of Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation, and has said that he and Epstein had not been friendly since the early 2000s.

The emails are among 23,000 documents released to the House Oversight Committee by Epstein’s estate.
In an email from 2011, sent to longtime confidante Ghislaine Maxwell, Epstein said: “I want you to realize that [the] dog that hasn't barked is Trump... [the victim] spent hours at my house with him. He has never once been mentioned.”
Maxwell replied: “I have been thinking about that.”
In another email, sent to American journalist Michael Wolff in 2019, Epstein wrote: “Trump said he asked me to resign, never a member ever… of course he knew about the girls as he asked Ghislaine to stop.”
Trump has repeatedly claimed that he barred Epstein from his Florida resort Mar-a-Lago after he ‘took people’ who worked for the billionaire, including Virginia Giuffre who went on to accuse Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor of sexual abuse.

Oversight Ranking Member Robert Garcia, a Democrat from California, said in a statement: "The more Donald Trump tries to cover-up the Epstein files, the more we uncover.
“These latest emails and correspondence raise glaring questions about what else the White House is hiding and the nature of the relationship between Epstein and the President."
“The Department of Justice must fully release the Epstein files to the public immediately. The Oversight Committee will continue pushing for answers and will not stop until we get justice for the victims.”
