A road has been closed in Grangemouth after a crash involving a police vehicle.

Police Scotland said it was made aware of a crash involving a car and a marked police vehicle at around 11am on Thursday, April 16.

The junction of Glensburgh Road and Forth Clyde Way is currently closed at Dalgrain Road and Earlsgate roundabout.

Emergency services are in attendance.

Police confirmed that one officer has been taken to hospital for treatment to a non-life threatening injury and another has been taken to hospital as a precaution.

There are no other reported injuries.

Drivers have been advised to avoid the area for the time being.
