12 Scottish campsites have been named among the UK's best for 2026 by experts.

The annual list of the top 150 Outstanding Sites has been revealed by popular UK-based search engine and booking platform Campsites.co.uk.

The Outstanding Sites list highlights the very best camping, glamping, and touring sites across the UK, celebrating those who offer their campers a reliably great holiday.

The sites are chosen using various criteria, including verified guest reviews (value for money, quality of facilities, location, service, and cleanliness), performance and engagement metrics, and enthusiastic editorial debate.

This year's selection includes everything from family holiday parks with swimming pools and activities for children, to peaceful adult-only hideaways and luxury glamping sites designed for hotel-style comfort in nature.
