Drivers were warned to expect delays after a crash closed a main road between two Scottish towns south of Edinburgh.
The A702 at West Linton was been closed in both directions following the incident this morning.
Emergency services were sent to the scene. No details have been made available.
The road reopened just before 9am.

Drivers were advised to use alternative routes where possible and allow extra time for their journeys.
Traffic Scotland said on social media: “The #A702 at West Linton has now re-opened following an earlier road traffic collision.
"Both directions are now running smoothly with no further delays expected on your route
